Our Students Reach the Finals of the SSB Quantum Algorithm Competition!
Quad-State Collapse, a team of students from our department, became one of 16 finalists selected from 260 teams in the Quantum Algorithm Competition organized by the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB). The team also ranked among the final eight in the Banking category.
At the final hackathon held at Teknopark Istanbul on September 26–27, 2026, our team presented its quantum computing solution to the “ATM Cash Flow Optimization” problem. The challenge involves planning armored vehicle routes and cash allocations to ATMs to maximize benefit while meeting constraints such as working hours and banking rules.
