Computer Engineering Examination Rules

Students are required to read the following examination rules carefully before attending their examinations and comply with them throughout the examination period.

1. Cheating and Attempted Cheating: Cheating, assisting another student in cheating, attempting to cheat, or engaging in any behaviour related to cheating is strictly prohibited. If such conduct is detected, the necessary procedures will be initiated in accordance with the relevant regulations.
2. Use of Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smart watches, headphones, and similar electronic devices must remain switched off throughout the examination. If a collection box or designated area is provided, devices must be placed there. Otherwise, they must be left in the location specified by the invigilator or kept out of the student's reach. The use of electronic devices during the examination is prohibited.
3. Earliest Time to Leave the Examination Room: Students are not permitted to leave the examination room during the first 20 minutes after the examination begins. After this period, students who have completed the examination may leave after submitting all required examination materials.
4. Examination Room and Corridor Conduct: Students who leave the examination room must remain quiet in the corridors and leave the examination area as quickly as possible in order not to disturb other ongoing examinations.
5. Compliance with Examination Order: Students must avoid any behaviour that may distract other students or disrupt the examination. Instructions given by the invigilators regarding seating, examination procedures, and order must be followed.
6. Monitoring the Examination Time: The start and end times of the examination and any time-related announcements will be communicated by the invigilators. Students are expected to follow these announcements carefully.
7. Student Identification: Each student must attend the examination with a valid student ID card. The ID card must be kept on the desk and be clearly visible to the invigilators during the examination.
8. Submission of Examination Materials: At the end of the examination, answer sheets, question papers, and any other materials that are required to be collected must be submitted to the invigilators as instructed.
9. Signing the Examination Attendance Record: Students are required to sign the examination attendance sheet or official examination record. Checking that the signature has been completed is the student's responsibility. Do not leave the examination room without signing the attendance record.
10. Instructions of the Invigilators: In order to ensure that the examination is conducted safely, fairly, and in an orderly manner, invigilators may change the seating arrangement when necessary and provide additional instructions concerning examination procedures.

These rules are applied to ensure that examinations are conducted in a fair, safe, and orderly environment.
