🎓 Computer Engineering Orientation Guide
The guide includes essential information on university life, living and transportation in Balıkesir, departmental procedures, academic advising, course registration, OBS, institutional e-mail, Microsoft Teams, internet access, examinations, internships, BAUN Technopark and departmental communication processes.

The program includes the general department orientation, meetings with academic advisors and faculty members, library and campus introductions, a cultural tour of Balıkesir, and a visit to Balıkesir Technopark.

First-year academic advisors are assigned according to the last digit of the student's university ID number.

Your academic advisor is one of your primary academic contact points regarding course registration, course selection and other academic procedures. When contacting your advisor, students are encouraged to clearly explain their question, include their student number and use their official university e-mail account.

🌐 Where Should I Follow Official Information?
For academic and administrative processes, the Department of Computer Engineering website and the Student Information System (OBS) should be regarded as the primary official sources of information.
Course and examination schedules, academic announcements, course registration information and other departmental notices should be checked regularly through official university channels. Social media and other communication platforms should be considered supplementary sources.
